Further quoting, “ Our security team quickly identified the intrusion and cut off access to the hacker, but we ask the community to continue to be vigilant. We will never ask anyone for payments like this via DM or otherwise.” However the team said there are a few similarity between the hack of Tron’s account and the account of the New York Post, but it is still to early to draw a clear conclusion that both the incidents are carried out by the same hackers or a group of hackers.After regaining the control over the account, Tron community posted “ We’re aware that our X account was compromised from 9:25 AM PST on May 2, 2025.
