Final Week of July Cryptocurrency | Strategy Reveals Bitcoin Holdings
Michael Saylor, co-founder and chairman of the U.S. software company Strategy, unveiled a new dashboard called the "MSTR-BTC Dashboard" on the 24th, which visualizes the company's Bitcoin (BTC) holdings of 1.34%.
This tool integrates the company's Bitcoin balance sheet and capital structure into a single screen.
Investors can easily check total holdings, net holdings, and per-share metrics. By visualizing complex financial data, the aim is to enhance transparency in the market.
According to data, the company holds 843,775 BTC. Calculated at the then price of $60,035, the total value of the holdings amounts to approximately $54.875 billion.
Additionally, net holdings are reported to be 551,732 BTC, with a value reaching about $35.882 billion, and the per-share holdings are also disclosed in detail.
Specifically, the total holdings per share are calculated to be 206,388 satoshis, while net holdings per share are 144,133 satoshis. The company's average acquisition cost is reported to be around $75,476.
The total acquisition cost is approximately $63.69 billion, which aligns with the documents submitted to regulatory authorities.
Strategy has been building the world's largest Bitcoin reserves as part of its long-term financial strategy. At the end of June, it announced a new monetization program and sold a portion of its holdings.
In fact, between June 29 and July 5, it sold 3,588 BTC, raising about $216 million. The funds raised are being used for preferred stock dividends and replenishing U.S. dollar reserves.
Furthermore, in mid-July, it secured approximately $263.5 million in cash through stock sales. Although cash reserves increased to about $3.2 billion, the cryptocurrency holdings have been maintained.
Data from independent analytical platforms also corroborate the company's official announcements. The company holds about 4% of the total supply of cryptocurrencies, making it the largest holder among corporations worldwide.
