Zoth announced on the 1st that it has built a vault based on the Zivolt infrastructure to offer Coinbase tokenized stocks to eligible users outside the U.S. This service allows users to deposit funds in stablecoins, which are then converted into shares of U.S. companies. The Coinbase tokenized stocks are provided in the form of actual ADGM securities, with each security backed by underlying shares held by a regulated custodian. Users can deposit funds in stablecoins without needing a U.S. bank account or brokerage, and the funds are automatically allocated into a diversified basket. The initial stock composition includes Apple, Alphabet, Meta, and NVIDIA, with Coinbase planning to add more stocks on-chain. Zoth's founder, Preetam Dutta, mentioned that access to the U.S. stock market has been determined by geographical location and stated that this service will provide opportunities to excluded markets. This vault is available only to eligible users outside the U.S. and other restricted jurisdictions.
