A new wave of token unlocks worth $1.28 billion is preparing to hit the crypto market, according to Tokenomist. These unlocks are divided into two categories: one-time, releasing a large amount of tokens all at once, and linear, spreading the release over several months. Among the tokens subject to one-time unlocks of over $10 million are HYPE (Hyperliquid), YZY, PROVE, KAITO, H, ENA (Ethena), ZRO, CONX, and AVAX (Avalanche). Ethena plans to unlock $170.44 million for Core Contributors and $142.03 million for investors. Avalanche expects a $192.56 million unlock for the Foundation in September, while AVAX remains at $6.79, down over 95% from its all-time high. Monthly linear unlocks exceeding $10 million include RAIN, SOL (Solana), CC, TRUMP, DOGE (Dogecoin), WLD (Worldcoin), ASTER, ZEC, MORPHO, TAO (Bittensor), AVAX, and PUMP. Solana anticipates two major unlocks in August, totaling $1.07 billion. Worldcoin will face a dilution shock with over $930 million in tokens unlocked on August 5. Traders are monitoring these unlocks as they increase the circulating supply, which can influence prices.
