Tether, the issuer of the world’s largest stablecoin, announced a strategic partnership with LINE NEXT and Kaia to distribute USDT natively on the Kaia blockchain. Tether Partners with LINE NEXT and Kaia to Launch USDT on Kaia Blockchain The integration aims to support the use of LINE’s stablecoin within the growing Web3 ecosystem, particularly in Asia. As part of the collaboration, USDT will be deployed on LINE’s Mini Dapp platform and self-custodial wallet, allowing users to make in-app payments, cross-border transfers, and participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) activities. “This marks a significant milestone in our mission to promote the adoption and accessibility of the digital dollar,” Tether said, emphasizing that the deployment on Kaia will increase the real-world usability of stablecoins in everyday applications. Formerly known as Finschia and built by LINE’s blockchain division, Kaia is focused on expanding blockchain infrastructure to support consumer applications.
