Strategy CEO Phong Le shared insights from the bear market, pointing out that institutions prioritize cash coverage in the market rather than merely holding Bitcoin. While it was once believed that Bitcoin was a fully liquid asset with a 30% annual increase, the market indicates that, apart from Bitcoin and DeFi participants, institutions prefer to invest in short-term funds for six months. The company currently has 2.7 years of dividend coverage and $4.75 billion in cash. Phong Le stated that although there is a preference for holding Bitcoin, it is essential to ensure that Stretch operates smoothly so that both MSTR and Bitcoin can function properly. Some investors are more focused on dividend coverage, and the substantial cash reserves demonstrate that the company is listening to these demands.
