Securitize Gets Jump Crypto Investment, Boosts BlackRock's $2.86B BUIDL Fund Amid 800% Tokenized Treasury Surge

Securitize, a Miami-based platform focused on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), has secured a strategic investment from Jump Crypto, the digital asset arm of Jump Trading Group. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, and this is the first outside investment in Securitize since BlackRock led a $47 million funding round last year.Securitize partners with major asset managers including BlackRock, Apollo, Hamilton Lane, and KKR to issue blockchain-based funds. Its flagship product, BlackRock's BUIDL fund, is structured as a money market fund, pays daily dividends, and currently manages $2.86 billion in assets. Tokenized Treasury products have surged 800% to nearly $7 billion since BUIDL's debut, with funds issued on Ethereum and Solana blockchains.
