Russia Attacks 'Epicenter' Shopping Center in Mykolaiv, Two Injured
On September 4 and 5, the Russian army launched strikes with rocket drones on the 'Epicenter' shopping center in Mykolaiv, resulting in two injuries. A 72-year-old man was hospitalized after the first attack, while a 17-year-old girl was wounded during the subsequent strike. A fire broke out as a result of the attack; however, thanks to pre-prepared shelters, significant casualties among the staff were avoided. Rescuers are working to mitigate the aftermath of the strike. Russian troops are systematically attacking 'Epicenter' and other civilian shopping centers in Ukraine. On August 28, a strike was carried out on the 'Epicenter' in Zaporizhzhia, and on August 24, on the 'Epicenter' in Odesa. As a result of a massive shelling of Kyiv on August 5, the Russians destroyed two logistics centers of 'Epicenter', resulting in the death of one company employee. In connection with this, the company has suspended production at the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation plant and will relocate it to two facilities abroad.
