PeaqOS integrated World ID on August 21, 2026, allowing robots operating on PeaqOS to verify World ID proofs through native requests via robotic.sh, confirming that the interaction partner is a real and unique human without the need to collect names, facial information, or other personal data. The system employs zero-knowledge proofs, where the machine receives an encrypted proof that the user is a real person, rather than identity information. PeaqOS acts as a coordinating layer, connecting World ID through decentralized identifiers and a machine marketplace, while recording auditable interaction logs. This solution is applicable in scenarios such as autonomous delivery, shared machines, and pharmaceutical distribution, allowing users to verify multiple times in the World App and during the delivery process, enabling robots to confirm that the recipient is the same person associated with the order; PeaqOS will also extend zero-knowledge verification to more DePIN projects.
