NVIDIA has launched its first set of GeForce Trading Cards, Series 1, which includes 14 designs that commemorate over thirty years of GeForce graphics cards, games, and technology demos. The featured cards include the NV1, GeForce 256, GeForce 3, 7800 GTX, GTX 1080, and the Cyberpunk 2077 edition RTX 2080 Ti, along with classic tech demos like Bubble, Chameleon, and Medusa, which have also been made into cards. This set of cards is not available for public sale and can only be obtained through participation in the "Summer of RTX" online lottery or by attending designated events for free. NVIDIA has already distributed them at the Shanghai Bilibili World and will also be present at QuakeCon and gamescom. Players have mixed feelings about this "card release," with PC Gamer quoting a netizen's jest: "Finally, there's an NVIDIA card I can afford."
