The country superstar has been promoting the set for months with a slew of huge singles, and anticipation for the project is incredibly high. Just days before fans will be able to hear all 37 songs featured on the packed full-length, Wallen has dropped one last promotional single: “Superman.” Morgan Wallen’s New No. 1 Following suit with other tunes that arrived before it, “Superman” has become an instant bestseller. As of the time of writing, the track sits at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart. That makes it the bestselling track in America on the platform, which is usually considered the most important when it comes to people buying individual songs in the U.S. Morgan Wallen Beats Miley Cyrus to the Top “Superman” manages to win during a very busy period on iTunes. Friday marks the beginning of a new tracking week for the charts, so it’s when most musicians release new singles and albums. Wallen outpaces just-shared tunes from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Blackpink singer Rosé, Halsey, and others who also debut on the list at the same time. The 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards were held last night, so a bevy of country tunes from stars like Reba McEntire, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and others are also selling very well at the moment. All the I’m the Problem Singles I’m the Problem has thus far produced five proper singles: “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile,” “I’m the Problem,” and “Just in Case.” All of them have cracked the top 10 on the Hot 100, and the same can be said for “I Ain’t Comin’ Back,” his collaboration with Post Malone. While that tune was only a promotional single, it still managed to open in eighth place on the Hot 100. It appears that, at least for the moment, “Superman” will remain a promotional single, but it’s sure to earn a healthy debut on the Billboard charts next week. It will likely score a lofty placement on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, perhaps giving Wallen another champion. The tune will also likely start inside the top 40 on the Hot 100, and a top 10 opening isn’t entirely out of reach either.
