LayerZero Unveils Exchange Infrastructure Atlas
LayerZero has unveiled its exchange infrastructure "Atlas," which integrates core functionalities to enable trading platforms and financial institutions to build trading services. Atlas consolidates key features such as trade matching, clearing, settlement, and risk management into a single system, allowing for the operation of proprietary trading services without the need to build a trading system from scratch. It addresses the current need for trade information reconciliation and verification processes in institutional financial markets, as well as the rising operational costs. Atlas is designed to be utilized by both crypto-based trading services and financial institutions, operating on the same trading engine. Built on LayerZero's high-performance blockchain "Zer0," Atlas has demonstrated a trade processing latency of less than 1 millisecond. LayerZero connects over 160 blockchains and has processed a cumulative $290 billion in cross-chain transactions. Lim Jong-kyu, the Asia General Manager, expressed expectations that Atlas will support the demand for derivatives markets in Asia.
