Hyperscale Data, Inc. announced a sale of approximately 150.5 Bitcoin last week, reducing its holdings to 958.5352 Bitcoin, valued at over 61 million dollars as of August 2. The company's Bitcoin is held across its subsidiaries Sentinum, Inc. and Ault Capital Group, Inc. Previously, Hyperscale reported over 1,106 Bitcoins worth nearly 70 million dollars. Executive Chairman Milton 'Todd' Ault III stated the company aims to maintain its long-term Bitcoin position while utilizing it for short-term flexibility to fund data center operations, with expectations of generating significant cash flow this year and next. Hyperscale plans to establish a 100 million dollar digital asset treasury and achieve parity between its Bitcoin holdings and market value. The company is following the example of Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy, which shifted from selling software to buying Bitcoin. Despite aggressive purchases in the past two years, Hyperscale has paused its buying and sold Bitcoin recently to enhance cash flow amid declining stock prices and Bitcoin trading nearly 50% below its October peak.
