Ethereum Staking Reaches 41.7 Million ETH, Accounting for One-Third of Total Supply

The amount of Ethereum (ETH) staked has reached a historic high, with approximately 41.7 million ETH currently in staking, accounting for about one-third of the total supply. Despite the price of ETH falling from $3,400 in January to around $1,900, the staking volume continues to grow. Market analysts believe that as the amount staked increases, the staking reward mechanism will continue to generate returns, with validators receiving rewards and reinvesting a portion of their earnings back into staking, further expanding the staked ETH volume. The increase in the staking ratio of ETH indicates a growing confidence among long-term holders and institutions in the security of the Ethereum network and the future development of its ecosystem, although a large amount of ETH entering staking may affect market liquidity.
