Dingdian Finance plans to launch a stablecoin using a business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) model. According to Huayi Hsuan from Standard Chartered Bank, since obtaining the stablecoin license in April, Standard Chartered and Dingdian Finance have been advancing work related to the stablecoin, including testing public chains to expand cross-border applications. The launch of the stablecoin aims to support the real economy and address issues faced by businesses in cross-border settlements, such as insufficient 24/7 processing capabilities and high costs. Dingdian Finance will distribute the stablecoin through approved distributors, targeting customers including enterprises, institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, traders, service providers, fund companies, and individual users, with application scenarios also including tokenized assets. After the stablecoin is launched, Dingdian Finance will sign contracts with distributors and announce the relevant list, with further news expected soon.
