The Economic Court of the Odessa region has declared LLC 'Tedis Ukraine' bankrupt, which held a monopoly position in the cigarette distribution market. The court has opened a liquidation procedure lasting 12 months. The total recognized claims of creditors amount to approximately 588.9 million UAH, of which 548.45 million UAH are claims from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. 'Tedis Ukraine' also owes 38 million UAH to the company 'Akord Gold', which initiated the bankruptcy process. An inventory confirmed the presence of tangible assets worth 1.126 million UAH and a bank account balance of 1,667 UAH. The accounts receivable amount to 307.9 million UAH; however, primary documents for its confirmation were not provided. The court noted a significant reduction in the economic activity of 'Tedis Ukraine' in 2023-2025, the cessation of wholesale trade in tobacco products, and signs of persistent insolvency. In 2023, major international tobacco manufacturers terminated agreements with the company and shifted to cooperation with 'DL Solution'. Previously, the court imposed a freeze on 'Tedis Ukraine's' funds in bank accounts amounting to 548 million UAH.
