The BNB Chain has established itself as the largest custodian for Franklin Templeton's tokenized money market fund platform, Benji. Currently, approximately $1.5 billion in assets are on the BNB Chain, which accounts for 61.7% of the total managed assets of $2.44 billion on the Benji platform. Stellar and Ethereum hold about $573 million and $159 million, respectively. The BNB Chain demonstrates competitiveness in institutional tokenized assets due to its low fees and fast processing speeds. As the tokenization of real assets progresses, the choice of blockchain significantly impacts costs and operational efficiency. The BNB Chain is gaining a new image as a hub for institutional RWA, which provides a basis for future tokenized asset issuers and infrastructure providers to consider the BNB Chain. However, this is not expected to have an immediate impact on the price of BNB. Tokenized finance is expanding beyond competition among issuers to competition among blockchains, and the position of the BNB Chain is expected to grow further.
