AI Transactions on XRPL Reach 2.1 Million, No Impact on XRP Price

The number of transactions conducted by autonomous AI agents on the XRP Ledger has surpassed 2,094,121. According to data from xrpl-ai.org, an active market has emerged on the XRP-based blockchain where AI systems made direct payments for digital services within a month. However, the total transaction volume remained limited; the total settlement amount for all transactions was 5,112.89 XRP and 2,281.96 RLUSD. Considering that XRP is trading at around 1 dollar, the total value reached approximately 7,400 dollars. The average amount per transaction remained around 0.0035 dollars. The ecosystem has been shaped around the open x402 standard developed by t54.ai. This protocol allows programs to generate invoices and make instant payments in a fraction of a second. There are 141 verified vendors at the center. More than half of the traffic is generated by the Heurist Mesh and LucyOS projects. However, the direct economic impact of this activity on the XRP token has yet to be seen. The first million transactions in July and the subsequent second million transactions have shown that 2 million transactions in a month were insufficient to create a significant impact on market value or liquidity. The XRP Ledger provides a suitable infrastructure for machine-to-machine payments, but for this area to exert significant economic pressure on XRP, it needs to reach billions of transactions.
